We are seeking an energetic and customer-focused Food Counter Attendant to join our dynamic food service team. Responsibilities
Greet customers warmly and assist with menu selections to enhance their dining experience
Take accurate orders using POS systems such as Micros POS, ensuring quick and effective service
Prepare and assemble food items according to established recipes and safety standards
Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering duties
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, utensils, and food contact surfaces in compliance with food safety regulations
Upsell menu items to maximize sales opportunities while providing excellent customer service
Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure timely order fulfillment and customer satisfaction
Qualifications
Previous food service experience or restaurant background preferred but not required; training provided for motivated candidates
Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS or similar cash register technology
Strong understanding of food handling procedures and sanitation standards in the food industry
Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, positive attitude
Ability to perform basic math calculations quickly for cash handling and order processing
Effective time management skills to handle high-volume periods efficiently
Knowledge of food safety practices and proper kitchen hygiene procedures
Experience in food preparation, serving, or cashiering within a restaurant or similar setting is advantageous
Willingness to learn current skills such as upselling techniques and advanced POS operations
