ABOUT THE ROLE

Forward Furniture is a furniture showroom in Calgary SE, and we are hiring a part time salesperson who wants to be paid for results. You will work the floor alongside the owner, help customers find the right sofa, bed, massage chair or sauna, and earn commission on every sale you close.

$20.00/hour base plus commission on everything you sell
Positive salespeople here earn $25 to $30+ an hour
Guaranteed minimum pay every two weeks, so a slow week does not hurt you
Flexible part time schedule, usually 2 to 4 days a week

WHAT YOU WILL DO
Greet customers, find out what they need and help them choose
Close sales and ring them through our point of sale system
Learn our products inside and out
Keep the showroom looking sharp
If you want more hours later,



we will train you on deliveries and assembly too

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
You like talking to people and you are comfortable asking for the sale
Fluent English, spoken and written. You will be talking with customers all day
Reliable and able to take ownership without being micromanaged
Retail, sales or customer service experience is a plus. Furniture, cars, phones or other big ticket sales even more so. We will train the right person
