We are seeking a motivated and friendly Crew Member to join our team in delivering exceptional customer service and high-quality food experiences. This role involves working in a fast-paced restaurant environment, assisting with food preparation, cashiering, and maintaining sanitation standards. The ideal candidate will be energetic, detail-oriented, and passionate about the food industry, with a focus on creating a welcoming atmosphere for our guests. One year quick food experience required.
Dairy Queen experience will be given first preference
Responsibilities
Prepare and assemble food items according to company standards and safety guidelines
Operate POS systems for accurate order processing and cash handling
Provide excellent customer service by taking orders, answering questions, and ensuring guest satisfaction
Handle cashier duties efficiently, including processing payments and giving correct change
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, dining areas, and kitchen equipment in compliance with food safety standards
Assist with upselling menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales
Manage time effectively to ensure prompt service during busy periods
Follow all food handling procedures to ensure safety and quality of products served
Support team members in various tasks as needed to ensure smooth restaurant operations
Skills
Experience in food preparation and food service settings preferred
Familiarity with POS systems is advantageous
Strong customer service skills with a friendly demeanor
Basic math skills for cash handling and transaction accuracy
Knowledge of food safety protocols and sanitation practices
Ability to multitask efficiently in a quick-paced setting
Excellent time management skills to handle multiple responsibilities simultaneously
Kitchen or restaurant experience is a plus but not required; willingness to learn is essential
Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and interact positively with guests
Upselling techniques to promote menu items and enhance sales performance
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $15.00-$16.50 per hour
