Duties
Assist in drafting, reviewing, and editing legal documents such as contracts, memoranda, and correspondence with precision and clarity
Extensive Travel
Collaborate with senior lawyers to analyze case facts, identify legal issues, and develop strategic solutions
Maintain organized case files and ensure all documentation complies with internal standards and regulatory requirements
Participate in client meetings, taking detailed notes and providing follow-up support as needed
Stay updated on relevant laws, regulations, and industry trends to inform legal strategies and ensure compliance
Experience
A recent graduate or current student pursuing a degree in Law from an accredited institution with a strong academic record
Excellent writing skills with the ability to produce clear, concise, and well-structured legal documents
Knowledge of Indigenous issues and culture
Strong negotiation skills with an understanding of contractual principles and dispute resolution techniques
Proven ability to conduct thorough research and analyze complex information effectively
Familiarity with legal drafting standards and practices is highly desirable
