Job Overview:
We are seeking a friendly, organized, and professional Clinical Receptionist to join our team at Argyll Wellness Centre. The ideal candidate has strong customer service skills and preferably experience working in a physiotherapy or healthcare clinic setting with a solid understanding of WCB claims and Motor Vehicle Accident (MVA) claims.
As the first point of contact for our patients, you will play a key role in creating a welcoming and positive experience while supporting the daily operations of the clinic.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet patients in a warm and professional manner
Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries
Schedule and manage patient appointments
Process payments and issue receipts
Verify insurance information and assist with direct billing
Maintain patient records and ensure accurate documentation
Support clinic operations and assist practitioners as needed
Keep reception and waiting areas clean and organized
Qualifications:
Prior experience as a receptionist or administrative assistant preferred
Preferred experience working in a physiotherapy or healthcare clinic
Solid communication and interpersonal skills
Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
Office experience with administrative tasks including scheduling, filing, and data entry
Familiarity with front desk operations in a healthcare setting is highly desirable
Ability to handle sensitive patient information with confidentiality and professionalism
Solid organizational skills with attention to detail
