In British Columbia, mNPRs are developed in partnership with the Ministry of Health, the BC Nurses’ Union (BCNU) and health organizations.

The salary range for this position is CAD $32.84/Hr. - CAD $41.35/Hr.

Perform the full scope of practical nursing functions for clients with predictable outcomes within a designated area of specialty including activities such as assessing, planning, implementing, evaluating and documenting client care, and providing support to clients and their families.

Work collaboratively as a member of an interdisciplinary care team and under general supervision, and support the Registered Nurse in caring for clients with unpredictable outcomes.

You will work under the direction of an RN for patients where the acuity or complexity of care requires an advanced level of knowledge and skill beyond the scope of practice for Licensed Practical Nurses.

Nurses may be eligible for Federal student loan forgiveness.
