Requirements: On-site in a manufacturing workplace with exposure to plant operations.
Exposure to external climate conditions.
Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
Lifting up to 50 lbs. and standing for extended periods is required.
Qualification & Experience Minimum Grade 12 diploma or equivalent.
Red Seal Journeyman Industrial Mechanic / Millwright status is considered a strong asset. (Applicants with credentials or experience in other related trades are welcomed).
Prior experience in a manufacturing or processing environment is considered a strong asset.
Hands-on experience with stainless steel welding and fabrication is preferred.
Desired Skills and Abilities Demonstrated capability to repair and maintain automated mechanical and computer-controlled systems.
Experience testing, operating, and maintaining robotic equipment and automated packaging lines.
Solid technical understanding of automated production processes controlled via PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers).
Knowledgeable and proficient in using meters to safely diagnose electrical circuits.
