Valard Construction seeks dedicated Powerline Technicians for its Saskatchewan Distribution group. Your responsibilities will include constructing current facilities, troubleshooting, and mentoring apprentices. You'll work with essential equipment and ensure safety procedures are followed during your tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead construction of overhead and underground power lines
• Mentor apprentices and crew members as needed
• Perform live-line work using safety techniques




• Erect and maintain poles, towers, and guy wires
• Document work performed and materials used accurately
Requirements:
• Journeyperson Powerline Technician Certification
• Experience with 14.4kV - 25kV distribution work
• Solid electrical theory and safety knowledge
• Valid driver's license required
• Ability to respond quickly to emergency outages
