Shermco Canada is seeking an ambitious Electrical Engineer-in-Training to join its Regina or Saskatoon offices. The EIT will engage in projects involving electrical power distribution systems, substations, and testing. Working under the supervision of licensed Qualified Engineers, you will gain hands-on experience and support crucial engineering tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop electrical designs for industrial and commercial systems
• Prepare and review technical diagrams and equipment layouts
• Support power system studies and electrical design calculations
• Conduct site visits to verify design requirements
• Collaborate with project managers and technical staff
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering
• Registered or eligible to register as EIT in Saskatchewan
• 4 - 6 years experience in power systems or electrical services
• Ability to interpret electrical drawings and documents
• Valid driver’s license with 10% travel availability
