TransX Ltd., a leader in integrated transportation and logistics, is seeking a Shunt Driver to enhance operations. You will operate shunt vehicles, ensuring secure trailer placement and assisting with traffic management. Essential skills include forklift operation, pre-trip inspections, and maintaining safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
• Operate shunt vehicles within the yard safely
• Locate and park trailers for loading and maintenance
• Ensure trailers are set to correct temperatures
• Assist in managing traffic flow in the worksite
• Perform pre-trip inspections and monitor vehicle safety
Requirements:
• At least one year of forklift operation experience
• Valid Class 5 license for vehicle operation
• Ability to work in multi-temperature settings
• Physically able to lift 50 to 80 lbs
• Knowledge of safety practices in logistics
