Become a vital part of SSR Mining at the Seabee Gold Operation in Saskatchewan as a Junior Mine Geologist. Collaborate with engineering and operations teams while focusing on geology and resource integrity.
This role reports to the Geology Department Supervisor and plays a significant part in ensuring geological oversight and field execution. Key responsibilities include sample collection, geological mapping, logging drill core, and interpreting ore and waste boundaries. This is an entry-level chance suitable for candidates eager to develop their skills in an underground mining environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct daily grade control activities for proper sample handling
• Implement QA/QC procedures for geological data management
• Perform geological mapping of mining areas




• Assist with drillhole planning and monitor geological objectives
• Prepare geological reports and maintain accurate records
Requirements:
• B.Sc. in Geology; registration as a Qualified Geoscientist preferred
• Practical experience in underground mining is an asset
• Knowledge of Narrow Vein Mining is a plus
• Familiarity with Leapfrog and MX Deposit software is beneficial
• Solid communication skills and a proactive attitude towards safety
