A regional manufacturing/construction company is looking to add a current Accountant to their team. This position will have high level exposure and be heavily-involved in decision making. The company is very adaptable with schedules and stands by their family-feel environment in terms of hours worked.
Job Duties:
Partner with Controller on month/year end close procedures
Assist with forecasting and budgeting
Assist with the implementation of recent accounting procedures
AR and AP reconciliations
Assist with department goal setting
Maintain fixed asset registers
Analyze and reconcile the general ledger accounts related to inventory
Provide support for other accounting functions when needed
Job Qualifications:
Associate's Degree in Accounting or related field
1+ years accounting experience
Manufacturing experience preferred, but not required
Communication skills, both verbal and written
Problem solving and process improvement mindset
