Support children with complex needs at Hope’s Home in Saskatoon as a dedicated Developmental Worker. Provide personalized care, assist with developmental goals, and implement individualized programs.
In this full-time position, you will work closely with children facing medical and behavioral challenges, providing essential personal care and supervision during activities. You'll collaborate with a skilled team and outside professionals to implement individualized program plans aimed at enhancing each child's growth and wellbeing.
Key Responsibilities:
• Attend to personal care duties including dressing and hygiene
• Prepare dietician-approved meals following set menus
• Supervise recreational activities in and outside the home




• Document behavior and progress towards developmental goals
• Provide secure transportation for children as needed
Requirements:
• First Aid/CPR certification required
• Experience with children having diverse needs is an asset
• Knowledge of adaptive equipment and behavior management
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities
• Flexible availability for various shifts including weekends
