Lead the Site Plan Review Team for the City of Burlington on a hybrid basis. This role combines supervision with planning oversight to support community growth and land use objectives.

As the Supervisor, Site Plan Review, you will guide a team in managing site plans, minor variances, and more. With a focus on mentorship, you will promote an setting of communication and collaboration to enhance performance and service delivery.

Your leadership will drive high-quality outcomes aligned with the City’s objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and mentor the Site Plan Review team
Assign work and adapt plans to emerging priorities
Ensure customer service objectives are met continuously
Provide expert advice on planning matters
Author staff reports and coordinate city submissions

Requirements:
Four years degree in Urban Planning or related field
Four to seven years of skilled planning experience
Two years in a supervisory role
Knowledge of Ontario Planning Act and Site Plan Review
Solid organizational and project management skills
