BBA is seeking a practice leader with at least 25 years of experience. In this role, you will serve as the firm's subject matter expert, defining standards and advising clients on major facility decisions. Your strategic influence will ensure technical excellence and governance in tailings management facilities, waste rock storage, and water infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:
Serve as Engineer of Record for tailings facilities
Define and refine management practices and standards
Lead safety assessments and design studies
Advise clients throughout the facility life cycle
Conduct independent technical reviews and audits
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in engineering; graduate degree preferred
Qualified Engineer (P. Eng.) designation in Canada
Minimum of 25 years in mine waste management
Proven experience as Engineer of Record or principal reviewer
Advanced English and French skills for client collaboration
Drive innovation and technical excellence in tailings management while mentoring future experts at BBA.
