Reporting to the Engineering Superintendent, you will play a critical role in the Engineering Department focused on Underground Operations. Your responsibilities will include generating optimized long-term mining plans for the Detour Underground Operation, collaborating with various departments to ensure seamless production activities.

You'll also promote a high standard of health and safety while respecting environmental practices and workplace procedures.

Key Responsibilities:
Perform scenario analysis for optimized mining strategies




Develop Life of Mine mining plans with cost forecasting
Prepare presentations to communicate LOM strategies
Participate in mining reviews as Mine Operations representative
Promote continuous improvement in safety and productivity

Requirements:
Bachelor's in Mining Engineering or equivalent
10+ years of underground mining experience
Skilled Engineering eligibility in Ontario
Proficient in Microsoft Office and Deswik software
Solid English communication skills
