POSITION DESCRIPTION

FOP CONSULTANTS is looking for Project Engineers at the intermediate level motivated to deliver on mandates for its clients in the agri-food sector. The mandate is to manage agri-food capital investment projects from design through to start-up and to coordinate suppliers and contractors, integrate food safety and occupational safety requirements, and control costs, schedule and risks.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Plan and manage capital investment and plant expansion projects.
Coordinate engineering firms, suppliers and contractors.
Draft technical specifications and tender documents.
Oversee the installation, commissioning and start-up of production lines.
Integrate food safety, hygienic design and occupational safety requirements.
Control costs, schedule and risks.
Report on progress and performance to senior management.

CANDIDATE PROFILE
Bachelor's or Master's degree in engineering (mechanical, industrial, chemical, food) or other related discipline.
Five (05) to ten (10) years of industry experience.
Three (03) to seven (07) years of experience as a Project Engineer.
Sector standards: HACCP, SFCR (CFIA), SQF, BRCGS, FSSC 22000, ISO 22000.
Tools and systems:



MS Office suite, MS Project, Primavera P6, AutoCAD, SAP.
Hold one of the following certifications: PMP, CAPM.
The following are considered assets: membership in the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec (OIQ), PMI-SP, Six Sigma Green Belt, PRINCE2.
Experience in Canadian public or private organizations.
Language: French and English
