Our client, a manufacturer of business communications equipment, is looking for an Insertion Machine Operator for the day shift or the night shift. (12 hour shifts).
Operate and make mechanical adjustments on printer, inserter or finishing equipment; Respond to special finishing requests (cutting/perforating/folding/scoring) from your supervisor, and to existing daily production priorities; Separate and prepare jobs for processing; Complete work orders and checklists; Ensure that the supplies used meet customer specifications; Perform general maintenance on all types of equipment as needed; Meet current productivity standards and ensure quality control; Participate in the training of recent employees.
Requirements: At least 3 of experience as an insertion machine operator; At least 3 years of experience with EPIC machines; Able to troubleshoot mechanical issues; Day shift: 7a - 7p; or night shift: 7p - 7a; First week: Mon, Tues, Fri, Sat and Sun (5 days), second week: Wed and Thurs; Night shift premium: $2.50/hour; French.
