In this integral role at Candu Energy, you'll report to the Manager of Retube Tooling – Common Tools, supporting tooling scope for the Qinshan project in China. Responsibilities include testing, troubleshooting, and the execution of tooling systems. You’ll work closely with engineering teams and ensure compliance with quality assurance standards.
Key Responsibilities:
• Review and interpret engineering drawings using SolidWorks
• Implement tooling updates based on operational feedback
• Document testing results and design improvements
• Assemble,
repair and maintain nuclear retube equipment
• Coordinate tasks with fellow technicians on project deliverables
Requirements:
• Diploma in mechanical engineering technology or equivalent experience
• 8-10 years in mechanical assembly/testing of nuclear tooling
• Knowledge of mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems
• Robust problem solving and organizational skills
• Ability to obtain security clearance for site access
