Your role as a Stress Analysis Engineer - Damage Tolerance will be to analyze the damage tolerance of primary structural elements (PSE).
TASKS YOU WILL ACCOMPLISH
- Conduct damage tolerance analyses on primary structural elements (PSE)
- Provide recommendations on aircraft structural design and repair concepts
- Develop fatigue spectra
- Validate damage tolerance analyses against experimental results
- Support the development of the maintenance manual in collaboration with the technical publications and maintenance engineering groups
- Collaborate with suppliers to ensure compliance with program methodology and technical requirements
- Review supplier reports and analyses
- Prepare certification reports
YOUR PROFILE IS ESSENTIAL TO OUR SUCCESS
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or aerospace engineering
- Minimum of ten (10) years of experience in stress analysis of metal aircraft structures,
with a specialization in fatigue and damage tolerance design (DTD)
- Proficiency in NASTRAN, PATRAN, NASGRO, CATIA V5, as well as the MS Office suite and Google Workspace
- Experience in an aircraft development program or in-service support, including certification activities, is a plus
- Knowledge of non-destructive testing (NDT) techniques is considered a plus
- Robust sense of responsibility, integrity, and strong team spirit
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to read and communicate in French and English
