Artelia Canada seeks a skilled Transmission and Distribution Engineer for its Mississauga, Ontario office. This role involves civil and structural design for high-voltage systems.
As a key member of Artelia's Transmission, Distribution, and Energy production team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality designs and specifications. Your expertise will drive the planning, development, and implementation of innovative solutions. You’ll also perform analyses and calculations to ensure compliance with industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:
• Create detailed plans for high-voltage electrical infrastructure
• Conduct structural calculations and analysis for projects
• Develop feasibility and conceptual designs for electrical systems
• Utilize AutoCAD and Revit for drafting detailed drawings
• Attend in office visits to oversee project compliance
Requirements:
• University degree in civil/structural engineering
• 5+ years experience with P.Eng designation
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and related software
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Experience with Hydro-One or other public service companies
