You will collaborate closely with internal partners and external lawyers, nurturing a culture of innovation and risk-taking. This role requires significant legal experience in venture capital and private equity, especially while working in a hybrid model from either Montréal or Toronto.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide clear legal advice on investment projects
• Negotiate business-related agreements during transactions
• Coordinate external legal representatives as needed
• Conduct in-depth research on relevant legal issues
• Coach and guide internal clients on legal matters
Requirements:
• University degree in law
• 5+ years in transactional law, particularly venture capital
• Member of Barreau du Québec or Law Society of Ontario
• Strong analytical and negotiation capabilities
• Bilingualism is an asset
