Step into a pivotal role as a Staff Transmission Engineer focused on high voltage projects in Toronto, Ontario. You will develop innovative designs while collaborating with project teams on a variety of transmission line projects.

As a Staff Transmission Engineer, you will create designs from concept to completion and work directly to modify and assess transmission components. This role requires solid technical skills in transmission engineering, effective communication, and the ability to apply industry codes, ensuring all projects meet expectations.

Key Responsibilities:
• Execute transmission design from conceptual phase to final completion
• Review and modify transmission components for project specifications
• Prepare technical documentation including RFQs and bid summaries




• Conduct economic studies for conductor selection and grounding performance
• Perform field inspections and calculations for client requirements

Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering/related field
• 3 years of transmission engineering experience required
• Excellent technical, written, and verbal communication skills
• Strong computer skills in engineering software
• EIT Certification is preferred
