SAMGI is seeking a General Surgeon with trauma experience to join anestablished Trauma and Acute Care Surgery team at a Level II teaching hospitalin Sacramento, California. Experienced surgical colleagues, skilled APPsupport, and no billing or administrative burden — so you can focus entirely onbeing a surgeon.
THE POSITION
- Level II Trauma Center · teaching hospital
- Collaborative team with Surgical Critical Care expertise

WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Operative and non-operative trauma management
- Emergency general surgery and acute surgical care
- Trauma resuscitation and critical care management
- Multidisciplinary team collaboration
- Medical Student education
QUALIFICATIONS
- Board Eligible or Board Certified in General Surgery
- California State Medical License required
- Prior experience in an ACS-verified Level I or II trauma programpreferred
- Surgical Critical Care fellowship a significant advantage
- Interest in teaching
- Collaborative team player with a record of clinical excellence
