CNC Programmer – Metal Working | Advanced CAM Programming (DMG MORI Experience Required) Location: Stoney Creek, ON Pay Rate: $25 – $30/hour Shift: Morning Shift Experience Required: Minimum 5 Years Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled CNC Programmer with strong expertise in advanced metalworking and precision machining.
The ideal candidate must have hands-on experience working with DMG MORI CNC machines , along with solid proficiency in Mastercam and other CAM platforms for multi-axis machining operations. This role involves programming complex parts for high-precision manufacturing in industries such as automotive, aerospace, and renewable energy.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and optimize CNC programs for multi-axis machining operations Create toolpaths using Mastercam and other CAM software Program and operate DMG MORI CNC machines for precision machining Perform simulation, post-processing,
and program validation Design fixtures and workholding solutions Optimize machining parameters for efficiency and quality Troubleshoot CNC programs and reduce cycle times Support prototype and production machining Ensure tight tolerance and engineering drawing compliance Primary Skills Mastercam (Milling & Multi-Axis Programming) CNC Programming (3, 4 & 5 Axis) Hands-on experience with DMG MORI CNC machines CAD/CAM Programming & Toolpath Development GD&T; & Engineering Drawing Interpretation High-Speed Machining & Process Optimization Program Debugging & Cycle Time Reduction Secondary Skills SolidCAM, Fusion 360 CAM, Siemens NX CAM Power Mill, Edgecam, GibbsCAM Autodesk Inventor CAM, CATIA CAM Support Fixture Design & Workholding Solutions Deep Hole Drilling & Precision Machining Mechanical / Welded / Glued Assembly 3D Printing (FDM Technology) CNC Setup & Process Validation Industry Experience (Preferred) Automotive Manufacturing Aerospace Components Manufacturing Renewable Energy Industry Key Strengths Complex CNC programming & machining strategies Tight tolerance manufacturing experience Strong production efficiency focus Continuous process improvement mindset
