In this unionized role, you will be responsible for operating overhead cranes and forklifts, performing daily inspections, and managing requisitions using WOFU and RFTM systems. With a solid commitment to safety and quality, you will ensure compliance with all health and safety standards while assisting other operators and maintaining workspace cleanliness.
Key Responsibilities:
- Complete pre-use inspections before crane operation
- Operate tandem cranes and forklifts effectively
- Load and unload coils for production
- Manage warehouse conveyor sorting and unloading
- Maintain housekeeping and comply with safety regulations
Requirements:
- 1-2 years experience with heavy industrial equipment
- Proven ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
- Flexibility for shifts and teamwork
- Shunting experience is mandatory
- Ability to read technical documentation clearly
