We are a rapidly expanding mechanical/ bodyshop workshop located in the Ahuntsic district of Montreal. { Marche Central Area)

Our company is looking for a Mechanic in the automotive field, preferably having worked on European or Volvo vehicles (an asset). We mainly work on luxury vehicles.

This is a full-time job with a schedule from Monday to Friday (8 am to 5 pm) with possibility to work on Saturdays also.

We are looking for serious and autonomous people only. An interesting salary awaits you!

Notre entreprise recherche un mécanicien(enne) automobile, ayant de préférence de l'expérience sur des véhicules européens ou Volvo (un atout).

Nous travaillons principalement sur des véhicules de luxe. Il s'agit d'un poste à temps plein, du lundi au vendredi (de 8 h à 17 h), avec possibilité de travailler également le samedi.

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Mechanic/Automotive Technician with proven experience to join our dynamic team. Responsibilities

- Perform comprehensive diagnostics to identify mechanical, electrical, and system issues using schematics and diagnostic tools
- Conduct repairs and maintenance on various vehicle components including engines, transmissions, brakes, suspension, and electrical systems
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and assembly techniques to complete repairs efficiently
- Follow detailed repair procedures and schematics to ensure accurate assembly and disassembly of vehicle parts
- Conduct heavy lifting and physical tasks required for vehicle repairs while maintaining safety standards
- Maintain detailed records of all work performed, parts used, and time spent on each job
- Provide excellent customer service by explaining repair needs clearly and ensuring customer satisfaction

Experience

- Proven mechanic or automotive technician experience in a dealership or similar fast-paced environment
- Strong mechanical knowledge across a variety of vehicle makes and models
- Hands-on experience with automotive repair including engine work, brake systems, electrical diagnostics, and suspension repairs
- Familiarity with schematics, maintenance procedures, and assembly instructions
- Skilled in welding and working with heavy lifting equipment preferred but not mandatory
- Experience using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment effectively
- Customer service experience demonstrating professionalism and communication skills

Pay: $36.00-$45.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
