Overview

Ruby Truck Line, a Manitoba carrier, needs a hands-on Local Dispatcher. You’ll keep our local trucks moving, act as a primary contact for regional shippers and receivers, and help on the yard when the board is quiet.

What You'll Do

- Build strong relationships with shippers and receivers, mostly by phone
- Plan local loads and routes in our TMS and keep drivers informed
- Enter load data accurately and fix delays before they grow
- Shunt trailers, crossdock freight, and help with yard upkeep and snow clearing as time allows
- Once trained, join our rotating evening and weekend on-call group for emergency repairs and customs support

What You Bring

- Confident on the phone and good at building relationships
- Organized, accurate, and calm under pressure
- Reliable, and willing to work outdoors and take on-call rotations

Assets

- Class 1 licence or similar experience (strong asset)
- Forklift and loader experience
- TMS, dispatch, trucking,



or cross-border freight experience
