Very fun 46-year-old female quadriplegic with spinal cord injury in Orillia seeking a reliable, responsible, and caring Personal Support Worker for morning and evening in-home care, Monday to Friday.
Services required include dressing, transfers, using ceiling lift, meal preparation, and tidying/light housekeeping.
Smoke free environment with two barky but friendly dogs.

Duties
- Assist me with daily activities such as dressing, grooming, and mobility to ensure comfort and dignity
- Provide patient care including medication administration and wound care
- Support me with meal preparation to promote proper nutrition and hydration
- Perform light housekeeping tasks like cleaning, laundry, and maintaining a protected environment
- Assist with transfers and mobility exercises to ensure safety during movement
Skills
- Proven experience working with individuals with disabilities in assisted living, nursing homes, or home care settings
- Strong knowledge of managing patients with complex needs
- Excellent caregiving skills with a focus on patient safety and comfort
- Ability to perform independent heavy lifting safely and efficiently when assisting me with mobility needs
- Effective communication skills in English
