Role Description The Accounting Technician is a full-time hybrid role based in St-Mathieu-de-Beloeil, QC, with some flexibility for work from home. In this position, the individual will perform day-to-day bookkeeping tasks, including recording transactions, reconciling accounts, and maintaining accurate ledgers for multiple manufacturing entities. The role involves preparing and assisting with financial statements, supporting month-end and year-end closing activities, and ensuring compliance with internal controls and company policies.





The Accounting

Technician will use accounting software to process payables and receivables, monitor cash flows, and support financial reporting for management. The individual will also collaborate with finance and operations teams to analyze variances, respond to information requests, and contribute to continuous improvement of accounting processes.

Qualifications

- Strong bookkeeping and accounting software skills to manage daily transactions and maintain accurate records.
- Ability to work with financial statements and finance concepts to support reporting and decision-making.
- Solid analytical skills to interpret financial data, identify discrepancies, and propose practical solutions.
- Attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a manufacturing setting.
- Post-secondary diploma or degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting is an asset.
- Proficiency with common office and ERP tools (e.g., Excel, accounting/finance systems).
- Ability to communicate clearly in a professional setting and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
