C++ Developer

Role Summary

Design, develop, test, and maintain software applications using C++ (C++11/14/17/20). Analyze business and technical requirements and translate them into robust software solutions.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, test, and maintain software applications using C++ (C++11/14/17/20).
- Analyze business and technical requirements and translate them into robust software solutions.
- Develop high-performance, low-latency, and scalable applications.
- Optimize application performance, memory utilization, and system efficiency.
- Collaborate with architects, business analysts, QA teams,



and stakeholders.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve complex production issues.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, participate in code reviews, and promote best practices.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
- Integrate applications with databases, APIs, and third-party systems.
- Ensure compliance with coding standards, security requirements, and software development best practices.

Required Skills

- Robust experience in C++ development with expertise in C++11/14/17 or above.
- Deep understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts.
- Strong knowledge of STL (Standard Template Library).
- Experience with multithreading, concurrency, synchronization, and memory management.
- Proficiency in data structures, algorithms, and design patterns.
- Experience with Linux/Unix development environments.
- Strong debugging and performance tuning skills.
- Experience with Git, SVN, or similar version control systems.
- Knowledge of software development lifecycle and Agile methodologies.
- Proficiency in writing unit tests and automated test cases.

Preferred Skills

- Experience with Boost Libraries.
- Knowledge of REST APIs, TCP/IP, Socket Programming, and Distributed Systems.
- Experience with SQL, Oracle, or PostgreSQL databases.
- Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI.
- Experience in Banking, Financial Services, or Capital Markets domains.

Salary Range - CA$ 90,000 - CA$ 110,000 Per Year
