About Ishida CanadaFor more than 130 years, Ishida has been a world leader in weighing, packaging and labelling equipment. Ishida Canada Inc., the Canadian subsidiary of Ishida Corporation, has grown steadily for 21 years, with offices and warehouses in Ontario and British Columbia.

We sell Ishida price-computing scales, portion scales, automatic packaging systems, and film and label supplies, along with Proluxe dough presses and grills, Watanabe meat slicers and Heat Seal packaging products. Our customers are grocery and food retailers, food service operators and dealer partners across Canada.

The RoleWe are looking for a motivated, early-career sales representative to grow Ishida sales in Eastern Canada. You will look after existing customers, help with equipment installations and build a pipeline of new business, selling to both retailers and dealer channels.

Speaking Mandarin or Korean is central to this role, because you will work with grocery, butcher and food processing customers who prefer to do business in those languages. You will be trained on our equipment and work alongside an experienced sales team.

What You Will Do• Visit and build relationships with existing retail and food service customers

- Find and develop new customers across Ontario, Quebec and the Atlantic provinces
- Demonstrate scales, wrappers and packaging equipment and explain how they save customers time and money
- Help our service team with equipment installations and customer training




- Prepare quotes and follow up on opportunities through to the sale
- Keep customer and prospect records up to date in Salesforce
- Represent Ishida at trade shows and industry events

What You Bring• Fluent in English and Mandarin and/or Korean (spoken and written)

- 1–3 years of experience in B2B or field sales, or as a field service technician
- Comfort with equipment; some electro-mechanical or technical knowledge is a plus
- Basic understanding of networking (connecting scales and devices to store networks)
- Strong communication skills and a self-motivated, organized approach
- Able to work independently and manage your own territory
- Valid driver’s licence and able to travel about 50% of the time, including some overnight trips

Nice to Have• Experience selling to grocery stores, butcher shops or food service
- Experience with Salesforce or another CRM
- French language skills (for Quebec customers)
