Applications are now being accepted for a permanent, full- time Finance Assistant. The finance assistant processes Accounts Payable data and provides reporting assistance to the finance manager. Applicants must have experience in a related role and possess an accounting certificate or equivalent coursework.

A minimum of three years accounts payable experience, detailed knowledge of word processing, excel spreadsheets and database management, as well as the completion of the District Accounting/Clerical testing is required. A full is available on our website at .

The position is included in Local 801 of the Canadian Union of Public Employees. The hours are 7.0 hours per day, Monday through Friday, day shift. The starting wage is $36.78 for the first three months and will increase to $37.03 after successful completion of probation. The position is also eligible for expected wage increases.
