Full Stack Developer, C++ / Angular

Location: Laval, Québec

Work model: Onsite, 3 to 4 days per week

About the opportunity

Amaris Consulting is looking for a Full Stack Developer with strong expertise in contemporary C++ and Angular to join a mining technology team in Laval.

You will contribute to software solutions that support mining operations, combining high-performance C++ back-end components with modern Angular applications used by engineering and operations teams.

You will work in a collaborative, cross-functional environment alongside software engineers, product owners, data specialists, and operational stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

- Design, develop, test, and maintain back-end services and software components in modern C++.
- Build responsive, scalable, and maintainable front-end applications using Angular and TypeScript.
- Develop and integrate RESTful APIs connecting C++ back-end services with Angular applications.
- Work with relational and non-relational databases to store, query, and optimize operational data.
- Collaborate with engineering, product, data, and operations teams to translate business needs into effective technical solutions.
- Write clean, reliable, maintainable, and well-documented code.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to development standards and best practices.
- Support CI/CD pipelines, application deployment, and production monitoring.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize applications for performance, scalability, and reliability.
- Contribute to automated testing and quality-assurance activities.
- Document technical designs, system decisions, APIs, and implementation details.
- Apply secure software-development practices throughout the development lifecycle.
- Support continuous improvement of software architecture, development processes,



and team practices.

Required qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline. Equivalent professional experience may be considered.
- At least 5 years of professional experience as a Full Stack Developer or in a comparable software-development role.
- Strong hands-on experience with modern C++, including C++11, C++14, C++17, or later.
- Strong hands-on experience with:
- Angular
- TypeScript
- HTML
- CSS
- Experience designing, developing, and consuming RESTful APIs.
- Experience with relational databases such as SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or similar technologies.
- Familiarity with Git and modern source-control practices.
- Experience working in Agile or Scrum teams.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, automated builds, deployment, and monitoring.
- Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong communication skills in English.
- Ability to work onsite in Laval 3 to 4 days per week.

Nice-to-have qualifications
- Experience with Qt or other C++ application frameworks.
- Experience with Azure, AWS, Docker, or cloud-native development.
- Knowledge of industrial, IoT, telemetry, or real-time operational data.
- Experience working with mining, heavy equipment, industrial automation, or manufacturing systems.
- Experience optimizing high-performance or data-intensive applications.
- Knowledge of monitoring, logging, observability, and production-support practices.
- French communication skills.
