Guidewire ClaimCenter Integration Developer

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Guidewire ClaimCenter Integration Developer to join our client in the insurance industry.

The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with Guidewire ClaimCenter, combined with solid expertise in Java development, Spring Boot, and API integrations.

This role requires a balanced technical background, with approximately 50% expertise in Guidewire ClaimCenter and 50% in Java/Spring Boot integration development.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, document, and maintain Java-based web services and API integrations.
- Develop and integrate secure RESTful APIs using Java and Spring Boot, including building APIs from scratch.
- Design and implement integrations between Guidewire ClaimCenter and external enterprise systems.
- Develop and maintain integration components using Gosu and Guidewire integration frameworks.
- Build and support RESTful and SOAP web services within a microservices architecture.
- Implement and optimize batch processing and messaging solutions.
- Apply best practices for API security, authentication, authorization, error handling, and logging.
- Perform API testing, troubleshooting, and integration testing.
- Collaborate with technical teams to ensure scalable, secure, and reliable integration solutions.




- Create and maintain API documentation using Swagger/OpenAPI.

Required Qualifications

- Proven hands-on experience as a Guidewire ClaimCenter Integration Developer.
- Strong programming experience with Java, Spring Boot, and Gosu.
- Demonstrated experience developing secure REST APIs from scratch using Spring Boot.
- Solid understanding of Guidewire integration frameworks and microservices architecture.
- Experience with RESTful and SOAP web services, messaging, and batch processing.
- Proficiency in API testing and troubleshooting using tools such as Postman.
- Experience working with JSON, XML, and YAML.
- Experience defining and documenting APIs using Swagger/OpenAPI.
- Strong knowledge of authentication, authorization, error handling, logging, and integration testing practices.
- Familiarity with SAPI, PAPI, and XAPI architecture.
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative technical setting.

Preferred Qualifications

- Guidewire ACE certification.
- Experience working in the insurance industry.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.

Language Requirements

- Toronto: Skilled proficiency in English.
- Montreal: Professional proficiency in both French and English.
