About the opportunity

Alberta Certified Corporation is seeking an independent sales representative to help grow our directory of certified Alberta businesses.

This opportunity suits someone who enjoys connecting with business owners, explaining a service clearly, and following up. You’ll introduce businesses to Alberta Certified, guide interested applicants through signup, and help approved members arrange certification-badge placement on their websites.

This is a commission-only independent contractor opportunity. There is no base salary, hourly pay, or guaranteed income. You choose your working hours and outreach methods, making it suitable for someone seeking a flexible, part-time commitment.

What you will do

- Find and contact potentially eligible Alberta businesses.
- Explain membership benefits, pricing, eligibility, and refund terms accurately.
- Direct interested businesses to our online application.
- Track your referrals and follow up with applicants.
- Help approved members arrange badge placement linked to their directory listing.
- Explain optional packages when appropriate.

Alberta Certified handles corporate-document checks, certification decisions, directory listings, badge creation, payments, and refunds.

Commission structure For each qualifying current membership:

- Home-Based: $40 signup commission + $10 website badge placement bonus = $50 total available.
- Storefront: $60 signup commission + $15 website badge placement bonus = $75 total available.
- Corporate: $80 signup commission + $20 website badge placement bonus = $100 total available.





You also receive 2% additional commission on qualifying optional packages purchased during signup, calculated before GST and excluding separately charged shipping.

Payment timing: Half of the signup commission becomes payable after seven full days from receipt of customer payment, subject to approval, settled funds, and no pending refund or payment dispute. The remainder becomes payable after the thirty-day refund window expires, subject to the agreement’s conditions.

For a qualifying customer refund requested after seven days and within thirty days, you retain the qualifying first half and receive no second half. Badge bonuses require verified placement and completion of the thirty-day qualification period.

Payable amounts are paid within three business days. Full terms are provided in the contractor agreement.

Business-to-business sales experience and existing Alberta business connections are helpful.

You’ll use your own phone, computer, and internet connection. There is no fee to apply or participate, and no membership purchase is required.
