The Lead Business Process Architect provides horizontal process architecture leadership across Sage’s GTM transformation, establishing the methodology, standards, and quality standards that process practitioners across workstreams design against. This is a hands-on role focused on ensuring the transformation builds one coherent global GTM operating model rather than a set of independently designed parts.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the most complex cross-motion process architecture challenges, identifying when processes or capabilities being designed within one workstream should be designed for reuse across multiple motions.
- Set and protect cross-motion process consistency and global standards, helping determine where standardization is appropriate versus where intentional regional or business variation is warranted.
- Establish and evolve the process architecture methodology, standards, and quality practices used across the transformation, including embedding impact assessment into how workstreams run discovery and design.
- Provide functional leadership, coaching, and quality oversight to Process Architects working across transformation workstreams.
- Connect designs across motions, identifying overlaps, gaps, conflicts, and dependencies early, and ensuring the overall GTM operating model remains coherent.
- Lead senior cross-functional design discussions and ensure process architecture recommendations brought to the Design Authority are explicit, high-quality, and decision-ready.
- Partner closely with colleagues across GTM-Effectiveness, Rev Ops, Sales, IT and other functions.
