Role Summary

Reporting to the Master Planner, the Production Planner is responsible for translating the master production schedule into executable daily and weekly production priorities.

This role works directly with Production, Purchasing, Quality, Warehouse, and other operational teams to ensure that work orders are released on time, materials are available, capacity constraints are identified, and production remains aligned with customer and operational priorities.

The Production Planner plays a key role in supporting the ramp-up and day-to-day execution of manufacturing activities at the Kirkland facility.

This is a hands-on planning position for someone who is comfortable working close to the shop floor, using ERP data to support decisions, and reacting quickly to production constraints.

- Coordinate with Quality Control regarding inspection status, quarantined materials, and release requirements.
- Ensure production jobs are aligned with available materials and component readiness.
- Support material staging and kit preparation for production activities.
- Support First Article Inspection activities where required.

ERP & Production Data

- Maintain accurate production information in Plex.
- Review production job status, labor, material consumption, and completion information.
- Support job closure and reconciliation of production variances.
- Maintain accurate planning-related data such as lead times, lot sizes, production quantities, and scheduling parameters.
- Use ERP and Excel data to identify risks and support production decisions.
- Ensure strong transactional discipline and data accuracy.
