Role Description The Project Estimator is a full-time, on-site role based in the Greater Montreal Metropolitan Area, at EverCo's Dorval Office. This role is responsible for preparing detailed cost estimates for custom commercial-grade windows, doors, and façade systems, using project plans, specifications, and site information.

The Project

Estimator reviews architectural and engineering drawings, quantifies materials and labor, and collaborates with sales, project management, and technical teams to develop accurate proposals and budgets. Daily activities include analyzing bids and RFPs, preparing quotations,



updating cost databases, and monitoring pricing trends to ensure competitive and profitable estimates. The role also involves communicating with clients and internal stakeholders to clarify requirements, address design or scope changes, and support projects from pre-construction through to award.

Qualifications

- Robust cost management and budgeting skills, with the ability to develop and maintain accurate project cost breakdowns.
- Proficiency in construction estimating and project estimation, ideally within commercial windows, doors, or façade systems.
- Effective communication skills for collaborating with internal teams, suppliers, and clients, and for presenting estimates clearly.
- Experience working with construction drawings, specifications, and estimating software or spreadsheets.
- Post-secondary education in construction management, engineering, architecture, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and the ability to meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced project environment.
- Knowledge of commercial building practices, building envelope systems, and relevant codes or standards is an asset.
- Ability to work on-site in the Greater Montreal Metropolitan Area and communicate in English; French language skills are an advantage.
