Project Manager – Operations & Vendor Transformation

Waterloo, ON or Toronto, ON – Hybrid (Tuesday–Thursday onsite)

9-month contract with potential extension/conversion

Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead the delivery of a complex, multi-workstream operations transformation involving technology, business operations, customer communications and an external delivery partner.

This is a hands-on delivery role for someone who is comfortable owning an integrated project plan, coordinating multiple workstreams, managing vendor commitments and driving a project through implementation, operational readiness and go-live.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead end-to-end delivery across multiple concurrent workstreams.
- Develop and manage integrated project plans, milestones, dependencies and deliverables.
- Act as a key day-to-day contact for the external delivery vendor, ensuring accountability against scope and timelines.
- Coordinate delivery across technology, operations, customer communications and business stakeholders.
- Manage project risks, issues, decisions, dependencies and escalations.
- Translate vendor commitments and SOW deliverables into actionable project plans.

Must-Have Qualifications
- 8+ years of project/program management experience.




- Proven experience managing complex, multi-workstream implementations.
- Strong vendor management experience within vendor-led delivery environments.
- Experience managing projects across both business/operations and technology.
- Solid project governance experience, including risk/issue management, dependency tracking and executive reporting.
- Experience supporting operational readiness, implementation and go-live.
- Strong stakeholder management and executive communication skills.
- Ability to drive execution in complex environments with changing priorities.
- PMP or equivalent project management certification.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Technology, Engineering or a related field.

Nice-to-Have
- Insurance, claims or financial services experience.
- Claims operations transformation, implementation or outsourcing experience.
- Experience with customer communication channels such as telephony, digital or chatbot solutions.
- Experience with assistance or case-management operations.
- Consulting or large-scale transformation experience.
