Hiring: Application Engineer II – Protection & Control Panel Design

We are looking for an experienced Electrical Engineer with robust expertise in Protection & Control (P&C;) panel design, relay protection, and power systems to support critical power infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design protection, control, SCADA, automation, RTU, and telecom panels.
- Prepare single-line, three-line, schematic, power, control, and wiring diagrams, BOMs, and engineering documentation.
- Perform load calculations and heat-rise analysis.
- Develop control schemes, including transfer, synchronizing, and auto-restoration schemes.
- Prepare test procedures and reports and support factory/site testing and commissioning.
- Review engineering designs and coordinate technical requirements with customers and drafting teams.

Mandatory Qualifications:





- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in protection and control panel design for power generation, transmission, and distribution systems.
- Hands-on experience with AutoCAD and/or E-Base.
- Strong knowledge of power systems, protection schemes, communication applications, and electrical design specifications.
- Experience with protection relay programming, including GE UR family relays or third-party protection relays.
- Experience developing FAT/SAT and commissioning test procedures.
- Strong understanding of distance, line differential, transformer differential, bus, feeder, generator, and large motor protection.
- Experience designing transfer and automatic restoration control schemes.
