Pembina Hills School Division invites applications for a Regular Full Time (28 hours per week) Combined Educational Assistant position. This position will work with Early Learning Services based out of Busby School (B-PREP) AND Eleanor Hall School (C-PREP)on Monday & Wednesday, 7.5 hours each day. This position will then work at Westlock Elementary School in the Grade 5 classroom on Tuesday, Thursday and some Fridays, 6.5 hours per day. This is a combined position and travel between schools is required.

The successful candidate must be a self-directed team player who is interested in working with children with diverse needs. The hours for Early Learning will end June 7, 2027, with the hours continuing at Westlock Elementary School until June 25, 2027.

Qualifications/Requirements

- Experience with children with complex needs
- Familiar with and experience in early intervention
- An understanding of early childhood development and experience and training in working with preschool children with developmental disabilities
- Able to work as a member of a school team
- Enthusiastic and motivated to help students succeed




- Experience with speech language support and behavioural issues an asset
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with students and adults
- SIVA Training would be an asset
- First Aid would be an asset
