Role Description The Rigger role is a full-time position. Day-to-day responsibilities include climbing and working on towers and rooftops, installing and securing antennas, radios, and associated hardware, and assisting with microwave antenna alignment and cable routing. The Rigger will support fiber and DC power integration, follow detailed installation drawings and methods of procedure, and ensure all work complies with safety regulations and company standards.

The role also involves conducting pre-work inspections, maintaining tools and equipment, completing job documentation and site reports, and collaborating with field technicians, engineers, and project managers to deliver projects on schedule.

Qualifications





- Candidates should possess strong tower and rooftop work skills, including safe climbing practices, use of fall protection systems, and comfort working at heights.
- Candidates should possess practical telecom installation skills such as antenna and radio mounting, cable management, basic microwave antenna alignment, and hardware assembly.
- Candidates should possess basic electrical and fiber integration skills, including handling DC power connections, grounding, and safe routing of fiber and RF cables.
- Candidates should possess solid safety and compliance skills, including understanding of OH&S; regulations, safe work procedures, and use of personal protective equipment.
- Candidates should possess strong teamwork and communication skills, including collaboration with field crews, clear reporting of site conditions, and ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Candidates should possess good organizational and documentation skills, including accurate completion of site reports, checklists, and photo records.
- Relevant certifications such as tower climbing and rescue training, fall protection, first aid/CPR, and WHMIS are highly beneficial.
- Previous experience in telecom rigging, construction, or related field work, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to travel to sites in varying weather conditions are preferred.
