Senior Web Developer

Responsibilities

- Collaborate with architects, analysts, and business stakeholders to evaluate enhancement requests and estimate effort.
- Gather and analyze business requirements and technical specifications.
- Design, develop, and maintain web applications and services.
- Create efficient, maintainable, and scalable software solutions.
- Execute unit and functional testing to ensure solution quality.
- Support system, integration, and user acceptance testing.
- Troubleshoot defects and implement corrective actions.
- Contribute to development standards, best practices, and documentation.
- Provide technical guidance and support to team members.
- Participate in deployment planning and implementation activities.

Deliverables

- Technical design and architecture documentation.
- Developed and enhanced web application components.
- Unit-tested software with documented outcomes.
- Defect remediation and testing support documentation.

Qualifications

- Extensive experience developing web applications using ASP.NET, C#, SQL, JavaScript, and related Microsoft technologies.
- Experience with modern web frameworks and source control/DevOps platforms.
- Robust database development and optimization experience.
- Experience with software delivery, configuration management,



and deployment processes.
- Strong testing and quality assurance experience.
- Ability to mentor and support other developers.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Experience estimating effort and reporting project progress.

Asset Qualifications

- Experience developing accessible web applications.
- Experience developing RESTful or SOAP-based web services.
- Experience contributing to application architecture and technical design.
- Experience with government, public-sector, or enterprise digital platforms.
