ServiceNow QA Engineer

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled ServiceNow QA Engineer with strong experience in functional testing of ServiceNow applications. The ideal candidate should have expertise in software testing methodologies, test planning, test execution, and quality assurance processes across Agile and Waterfall development environments. Knowledge of automation testing and API testing will be an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform end-to-end functional testing of ServiceNow applications and modules.
- Prepare, review,



and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on business requirements, functional requirements, and use cases.
- Identify, document, track, and verify defects throughout the testing lifecycle.
- Collaborate with business analysts, developers, and stakeholders to ensure quality deliverables.
- Participate in requirement analysis, test strategy discussions, and sprint planning activities.
- Validate system functionality, integrations, and business workflows within the ServiceNow platform.
- Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and production validation activities.
- Provide detailed test reports, defect summaries, and quality metrics.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- Strong experience in ServiceNow Functional Testing.
- Good understanding of Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and Defect Life Cycle.
- Experience working in Agile and Waterfall development methodologies.
- Knowledge of Automation Testing concepts and frameworks.
- Experience in API Testing using tools such as Postman or similar.
- Expertise in creating and executing test cases from Functional Requirements, Business Requirements, and Use Cases.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications

- ServiceNow certification is preferred.
- Experience with test management and defect tracking tools.
- Exposure to ServiceNow integrations and platform customization testing.

Salary Range - CA$ 90,000 - CA$ 110,000 Per Year
