Role Description The Service to Sales Team Member is a full-time, on-site role based at OpenRoad Mazda in Port Moody, BC. This role focuses on engaging service department customers, identifying their vehicle needs, and presenting suitable sales opportunities such as upgrades, trade-ins, and certified pre-owned options. Day-to-day tasks include greeting service customers, discussing vehicle status and future needs, reviewing service history, and introducing tailored sales solutions in a consultative manner.

The team member will collaborate closely with service advisors, sales consultants,



and finance managers to ensure a smooth customer experience from service to sales. Additional responsibilities include maintaining accurate customer records, following up on leads, meeting sales and customer satisfaction targets, and adhering to dealership and manufacturer standards.

Qualifications

- Strong customer service and communication skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport in person and over the phone.
- Sales skills and a consultative approach to presenting vehicle and upgrade options to service customers.
- Analytical skills to review service histories, understand customer needs, and identify appropriate sales opportunities.
- Basic finance understanding to discuss payment options, promotions, and value propositions clearly and accurately.
- Ability to work on-site in a fast-paced dealership environment, both independently and as part of a team.
- Previous automotive, retail, or customer-facing sales experience is an asset.
- Comfort using dealership software, CRM tools, and standard office applications.
- Availability to work dealership hours, including evenings and weekends as required.
