About SeQent

SeQent is a leading provider of open industrial data connectivity, alarm notification, and plant-floor communication software, helping manufacturers prevent costly downtime and keep operations running at peak performance. For more than three decades, we've connected controllers, databases, and cloud services and unified alarm and event data from SCADA, MES, and PLC systems, delivering it to radios, smartphones, displays, and PA systems, turning critical alerts into immediate, confirmed action.

The Role

SeQent is looking for a Solutions Marketing Manager to own how our portfolio is positioned, packaged, and sold. You will set the campaign strategy, define the message across our industrial data connectivity and alarming portfolio, and give our sales team the story and the tools to win.

This is a strategic, hands-on role on a small, high-leverage marketing team. You will report to the VP Marketing and work alongside a Growth Marketing Manager and a GTM Engineer, supported by fractional agency and contractor resources.

We are an AI-first team. We expect you to use AI tools as a daily part of how you research, draft, analyze, and ship, so that a small team can operate at the scale of a much larger one.

What You’ll Do

- Campaign strategy and briefs: Define the campaign strategy and write the briefs that drive execution, covering ICP, theme, message, offer, and how success is measured.
- Product marketing and positioning: Own positioning, messaging, and launch across the full portfolio.
- Account-based marketing: Build and run ABM programs against priority accounts in close partnership with sales.
- Partner marketing: Develop co-marketing programs and partner field events that generate pipeline through the channel.
- Sales enablement: Build the assets sales runs on across the portfolio, including pitch narratives, one-pagers, demo stories, and objection handling.
- Competitive intelligence: Maintain battle cards and win/loss insight across the competitive set, and keep the field current.
- Flagship content:

Own the category narrative and lead the flagship pieces: positioning and messaging documents, industry reports, whitepapers, and points of view.

Who You’ll Work With

- VP Marketing: Your manager. The VP sets the overall marketing strategy and direction, and you translate it into the positioning, campaign strategy, and content that carry it to market. Expect close partnership on annual and quarterly planning and on where the portfolio narrative goes next, with a high degree of autonomy on how the work gets done.
- Growth Marketing Manager: You define the strategy, the audience, and the message. They run execution across digital, content production, and events. Your briefs are what they build from, so the handoff between you is the engine of the campaign calendar.
- GTM Engineer: They own the data, tooling, scoring, and attribution underneath your programs. You bring the ICP definition and target account logic; they build the systems that enrich, route, score, and measure it.
- Fractional partners: Marketing is supported by external contractors and agencies covering web development, CRO, paid media, and SEO/GEO across the portfolio. You will brief and direct these partners on work that touches positioning, content, and campaigns, and hold it to the standard.

Minimum Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- 10+ years of marketing experience, including a track record in product or solutions marketing.
- Demonstrated experience working collaboratively with sales and data teams.
- AI fluency. You already use AI tools in your daily workflow and can show how they have changed the way you work.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Team player with the ability to collaborate effectively in a rapid-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience in B2B software.
- Industrial and/or manufacturing marketing experience.
- Hands-on product marketing experience across a multi-product portfolio.
- Familiarity with marketing automation tools and CRM systems (including HubSpot).
