- Ability to work independently under critical project timelines with minimal supervision, as well as collaboratively in a cross-functional setting.
- Clear written and verbal communication in high-stakes technical contexts.
Assets
- Direct experience with BESS and/or energy infrastructure.
- Experience working with productized or platform-oriented control systems.
- DC systems ranging from 48 VDC to 1500 VDC.
- Power conversion equipment, including inverters, converters, and rectifiers.
- Energy storage technologies, such as electrochemical batteries, flow batteries, fuel cells, and/or compressed air energy storage (CAES) or similar systems.
- Ignition SCADA by Inductive Automation.
- SEL RTAC programming and integration.
- Hardware-in-the-loop testing with Typhoon HIL or similar platforms.
- Safety PLCs, interlocks, and safety-related control functions.
- Certification and witness testing, such as UL 9540 or TÜV evaluations.
