As part of the Streets Section, you will contribute to maintaining city infrastructure. Successful candidates should have a Grade 12 diploma and a valid Class 3 driver's license with air endorsement. With a minimum of 2 years of experience in operating heavy machinery, you will handle tasks such as servicing equipment and collaborating on repair projects with a team.
Key Responsibilities:
• Operate street equipment including sweepers and plows
• Perform repairs and guidance within crews
• Install and manage special attachments as required
• Ensure protected equipment operation and maintenance
• Maintain accurate records for equipment usage
Requirements:
• Grade 12 diploma or equivalent
• Valid Class 3 driver's license with Air Endorsement
• Minimum 2 years of relevant equipment operation
• Current driver's abstract required
• Experience with snow removal is a plus
