Our family is seeking a part time nanny to start as soon as possible! The role involves caring for our two children, focusing on engaging activities and minimal screen time.
This position offers approximately 10-20 hours per week, extending to full-time (30 hours) in December or January. We are flexible with scheduling and primarily need help on weekdays, especially Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Your main focus will be our 3.5-year-old boy and our 1-year-old girl while I work from home.
Key Responsibilities:
• Engage children in play and activities with minimal screen time
• Ensure a safe workplace, using CPR and first aid skills
• Support outdoor play with two friendly dogs nearby
• Adjust to family schedules and requirements as needed
• Communicate proactively about children’s activities
Requirements:
• Several years of childcare experience required
• Valid CPR and first aid certification
• Outgoing personality that fosters child engagement
• Legal eligibility to work in Canada
• Driver's license preferred but not mandatory
